The Company

The company, consisting of Bronnhilde Ekermans Visagie and Francesc Bonnín Socías, was founded during the first half of 2014.
They have presented shows for the “Fira de teatre de Manacor”, “Estius a la fresca” in Calvià, “Festes de Palmanyola 2014”  and for “Sa Rueta 2015” of Palma.  They also took part in “Tot i Molt 2014” of the Ajuntament of Palma, “Viu la cultura” of the Caib and in “Cultura en Xarxa 2014” of the Consell de Mallorca.

He works as a teacher in various music schools and for a number of years as the director of L'escola de música of Calvià. During this time he also organizes various marionette shows. 
As musician he works as singer, pianist and director of various choirs.

In his capacity as conductor, he directs a wide repertoire of chamber and orchestral music as well as more than forty different opera productions in various cities around the world. 
As artistic director he creates various musical events. Most notable in this field is his work  in the Festival d'òpera de Calvià and in the Teatre Principal of Palma where he launches various educational projects about opera for schools. 
As communicator, he presents various short courses and conferences and participates in radio and television programmes. Currently he takes part in a weekly opera program on the cadena Ser.

As a double-bass player, she participates in chamber groups, symphony orchestras and operas in various cities in South Africa, Namibia, England and Mallorca. 
In her capacity as cultural historian she writes and publishes various articles as well as the book “Deur die Duineveld na Skipskop” (Through the Duineveld to Skipskop).
As musicologist she assists in research projects studying the ethnic music of various tribes in Africa.
As Curator of the Afrikaans Language Museum, she participates in the process of renewing and adapting the exhibitions and their contents to the spirit of the new democratic South Africa. She makes various studies of cultural and oral history and especially about children’s games and traditions in her country. 
She is also currently an objects conservator specializing in ceramics and related materials.
